Here are 9 X’mas Artisan Markets in Some Cool KL Venues Happening in December

The holidays are here and it’s time to break the bank. Just kidding!

Although, in all seriousness, if you’re going to splurge on the best gifts for your loved ones, why not support small local businesses at the same time?

There are a ton of artisan markets happening in KL over the next month at super cool venues and we’ve compiled nine that’re taking place during the first two weekends of December.

1. Ready 4 X’mas 

Date: 3-4 Dec
Time: 12pm – 8pm
Venue: Tiffin at the Yard, Sentul
How it’s different:

  • The venue is near Sentul Park. Featuring picturesque landscapes, a calm lake and a peaceful ambience, it’s the perfect place for an evening stroll.

2. Sunny Side Up Market Christmas Edition

Date: 3-4 Dec
Time: 11am – 5pm
Venue: Slate @ The Row, Chow Kit
How it’s different:

  • Situated on the same street as popular eateries such as Heritage Pizza and Licky Chan ice cream, this is the perfect occasion for a family or friends outing. There’s also an amazing view of the Petronas Twin Towers so you can take photos of them to your heart’s content!

3. Spring Wonder by The Messy Club 

Date: 3-4 Dec
Time: 10am – 8pm
Venue: Kedai KL, MAHSA Avenue
How it’s different:

  • The Messy Club’s markets are known to be colourful and fun. So you know the vendors are going to be really friendly, the products super cute and the vibes damn chun.

4. HEJŌ Matcha Pop-Up

Date: 3-4 Dec
Time: 10am – 8pm
Venue: Apartamento Space, Taman Tunku
How it’s different:

  • Cosy event with only three brands – HEJŌ Matcha, mokabylea (baked goods) and jointhepotteryclub (handmade ceramics)
  • HEJŌ Matcha is the first matcha spot in the east coast!

5. ATAS/ NOT ATAS

Date: 10-11 Dec
Time: 11am – 7pm
Venue: Ilham Gallery KL
How it’s different:

  • Features a special pop-up, “888: Independent Designers’ Showcase”, a collaboration between eight contemporary fashion and jewellery brands

6. Ping Min New Village Hopping

Date: 10-11 Dec
Time: 12pm – 9pm
Venue: Malaysia Grand Bazaar, BBCC
How it’s different:

  • There’s another market, Ping Min Lala Festival, happening at the same time just next door at Lalaport, Bukit Bintang.

7. White Christmas

Date: 11 & 18 Dec
Time: 10am – 6pm
Venue: Slate @ The Row
How it’s different:

  • Situated on the same street as popular eateries such as Heritage Pizza and Licky Chan ice cream, this is the perfect occasion for a family or friends outing. There’s also an amazing view of the Petronas Twin Towers so you can take photos of it to your heart’s content!

8. Mari Christmas Party

Date: 10-11 Dec
Time: 10am – 8pm
Venue: Kedai KL, MAHSA Avenue
How it’s different:

  • Features an immersive yoga session

9. The Godown Artists Market Xmas Edition

Date: 10-11 Dec
Time: 3pm – 10pm
Venue: The Godown Arts Centre
How it’s different:

  • A really cool, artsy and hipster place to chill, meet like-minded people, and just hang out!
