Today (31st March), Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah has taken to his Facebook page to pen a heartwarming note to all Malaysians. He starts off by describing the situation we are facing now.

“We are in challenging times and all of us are affected in one way or the other.”

Then he says that through this, the Ministry of Health had to learn new things quickly so that they are prepared for any possibilities. He continues and assured us that they are doing everything they can to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all Malaysians.

Then he branches out to individual messages and begins to tell the health workforce how proud he is of them and how well they have done:

“Many have left loved ones at home and have given up time and comfort to be at the frontlines to treat our patients. The Ministry sees each and every one of you and we appreciate everything you have done and continue to do daily.

Last but not least, Dr. Noor Hisham addresses us, the Malaysians.

“You are the key to stopping the spread of this pandemic. Our hope at this time, you will continue to stay home and keep observing the MCO.

You are crucial in flattening the curve, thereby enabling us more time and capacity to cater to your healthcare needs. Every Malaysian must play their part in battling this pandemic.”
