Based on today’s Covid-19 update from the Ministry of Health Malaysia, there are 710 new cases (23 October), bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 24,514. From those numbers, a total of 15,884 patients have recovered and been discharged, including today’s 467 patients.

Unfortunately, there are 10 reported deaths today, bringing the total number of deaths to 214.
Out of the 710 new cases today, 528 are in Sabah, 62 are in Selangor, 39 are in Negeri Sembilan and 19 are in Labuan. 709 cases are local transmissions and 1 case is an imported case.
There’s been an alarming increase in the number of positive cases of late. This means that we should tread lightly, be more careful and adhere to the standard operating procedures set in place.
