A deceased baby was returned to their family for burial after Malaysian philanthropist, Uncle Kentang, had assisted in raising funds to help settle the hospital fees, which resulted in the body being held in the mortuary.
Taking to his Facebook page, he shared further details about the incident.

The philanthropist stated, “We ended the year 2025 in a compassionate way. I understand the turmoil of a mother who misses her baby. The baby was only one day old when they passed away. The body was separated from the mum due to their inability to settle the hospital bill. The baby was kept in the mortuary until they could come up with the payment. The wait was painful.”
“We launched an immediate crowdfunding campaign and managed to raise the necessary funds. The rest is for procedures and rites,” he added.

He went on to share how, regardless of race or religion, he remains available to help those in need.
“I have no religion but to help all religions. No one shall question my faith. I do not need faith to do kindness. I do not want to fence myself in with restrictions about faith. I remain free to help all. My life, my way, my belief and my actions. It will eventually lead me to my grave,” he remarked.
“Watch not my faith, but watch what we have done to help others. Keep your faith to yourselves. You never know what is in me in regards to God,” the philanthropist added.
