The pandemic has changed our daily lives so much in every aspect. Right now, we are all sitting on the edge of our seats, hoping that there will not be a second wave in our country.

On 16 August, Taylor’s University in Subang has issued a statement on Facebook announcing a temporary closure of their campus. This is because a foreign student that studied in their university was suspected to have contracted Covid-19.

It is said that the student attended all his classes virtually, hence his movement on campus was limited.

The university has reassured that there are currently no cases reported on campus. They will be monitoring the situation closely in compliance with the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Higher Education.

It is also said that the university will be temporarily closed starting from today (17 August). They have confirmed that all of their teaching and learning programs will be conducted virtually until further notice.

Most universities, public and private have implemented virtual learning until 31st December.

We know you’re probably tired of hearing this. But we have not won this war against Covid-19 yet. So it is advisable that we always stay vigilant by practising physical distancing, washing your hands with soap and water or using hand sanitiser and we should always wear our face masks wherever we go.
