For a Healthier Putrajaya: Here’s How the CIDB Half Marathon 2025 is Helping M’sians ‘Build Perfect’ This 14 Dec!

Ready to “Run The Distance, Finish Stronger”? Then that’s what the CIDB Half Marathon 2025 is for! Taking over the scenic landscape of Dataran Putrajaya this Sunday, 14 December 2025, is this special event organised by Kelab CIDB WP Kuala Lumpur (KCIDBWPKL), with support from CIDB Malaysia and Perbadanan Putrajaya. This half-marathon is poised to be a major highlight of Malaysia’s running calendar by promoting a healthy, active lifestyle and celebrating the construction industry’s commitment to excellence.

For added context, this half-marathon is part of a larger initiative to support Putrajaya’s vision as a healthy, green, and recreational-friendly city, coinciding with the Putrajaya Car-Free Day/Morning.

 

Event Highlights and Categories 🌟

The CIDB Half Marathon 2025 caters to runners of all ages and fitness levels with the following categories:

  • 21KM Half Marathon: The premier category for serious runners. Finishers in this distance will receive an exclusive 21KM Finisher Shirt in a sharp navy and grey design, in addition to the event medal.
  • 10KM Race: A challenging race for intermediate runners.
  • 5KM Fun Run: Perfect for casual runners and those looking for a relaxed, recreational experience.
  • 3KM Family Fun Run: An inclusive run designed for families and participants of all ages.

 

Medals and Entitlements 🏅

Every participant who successfully completes their chosen distance within the Cut-Off Time will be awarded a stunning Finisher Medal, designed to reflect the CIDB’s focus on building and construction excellence. All registered participants are also entitled to a high-quality Event T-Shirt corresponding to their registered distance.

 

Race Kit Collection Details 👕

Participants are reminded to collect their race kits—which include their bib, event T-shirt, and other entitlements—on the designated dates and venues. Compulsory items for self-collection are your NRIC (or Passport) and Confirmation Slip. If collecting on behalf of another, a copy of the participant’s NRIC/Passport and Confirmation Slip is required.

Participants who register before the deadline have the opportunity to secure their spot in the half-marathon. Furthermore, all registered runners are automatically entered into a grand Lucky Draw with exciting prizes, including bicycles, large screen TVs, home appliances, and more! CIDB vendors, contractors, and members can also earn CCD points by participating in the run.
