States like Kelantan, Terengganu, and Pahang are being hit by flash floods at the time of writing. The annual disaster brings an inevitable halt to daily activities and work, but not for this Akak Nasi Kerabu in Narathiwat, Thailand.

The district in Thailand, which is at the border of Kelantan is also affected by the flash flood. However, according to a viral TikTok post @userp422ac68zn, business goes on as usual for the Nasi Kerabu vendor, who was seen serving customers outside her stall.

The waist-level floodwater has proven not to deter the vendor’s will to keep earning a living, and she did her best by making as much money as she could during the disaster.

The customers were also NOT bothered by the drizzling rain and the floodwater as they were “busy” selecting their dishes.

The man who recorded the video also “toured” around the area and made it clear that there was no space for the customers to dine in as the entire stall, which was just outside the vendor’s house was entirely flooded.

“The rain has been pouring since 8 am, and it’s 2 pm now,” the man said.

Once you sit, most of your body would be submerged and from your neck, with only your head on the surface!

According to the latest report by Sinar Harian, as of this morning (December 26), the flood in some districts in Kelantan has deteriorated, with the number of victims going up to more than 12,000.

Pasir Mas, Gua Musang, Kota Bharu, and Jeli are among the worst-affected districts, and nearly 4,000 families were moved to the temporary evacuation centers.

Despite the obvious dangers and risks, the Akak Nasi Kerabu continued to brace the flood and go about her business. Regardless, you are advised to stay indoor or at the evacuation center if you are affected by the disaster.
