The events the Palestinian people are currently enduring is truly horrific and saddening. Many have lost their lives while others have experienced unbearable affliction to their families and homes.

Thankfully, Malaysian humanitarian, Ebit Lew, is there to provide hope and help to the victims with the assistance of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dato’ Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein and DYAM Tengku Mahkota Johor, Tunku Ismail Idris.

Ebit Lew recently took to his Facebook page to showcase how he has since opened up two homes to house the victims there.

He wrote, “I rented two houses to become homes for the love of the people, with four spacious and comfortable rooms. As of now, they will care for 10 orphans and those who are in need. It will also be a place to stay and a place for children’s class activities. I cried seeing these children. At such a young age, their lives have been war-torn. I slept here for the night and was worried. But these children have had to endure this all their lives.”

“We visited a family. A single mother with seven small children. One of them was still a baby. Ya Allah. Her husband was recently martyred as a result of the bomb attack,”

“I saw the small children and couldn’t hold in my tears. It’s been a month since I’ve seen my children, wife and family and I’ve been sad. On the other hand, these small children have lost their father. But, they can still smile. They were excited when we brought gifts. They immediately smiled. I managed to play with them,” he added.

Ebit Lew immediately brought them to the homes and gave them some monetary contributions. He also managed to hire teachers to care for the people and manage the homes.

“Ya Allah, I am so grateful to be able to open the homes for the love of the people in Gaza, Palestine. Thousands have lost their home, are hungry and have lost their loved ones. Allahuakbar. It’s heartbreaking,” he said.

He ended his post by thanking everyone involved in helping him with his mission, including Dato’ Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein, DYAM Tengku Mahkota Johor, Tunku Ismail Idris and the Palestinian Red Crescent society.

The horrors that have unfolded for the people of Palestine will forever be set in stone as one of the most saddening events in history, but with the help that Ebit Lew is bringing to them, we genuinely hope that they will heal and find peace.
