Reports of a strong foul smell led to the discovery of the dead body of a woman inside a Nissan Grand Livina parked at a mall along Jalan Song in Kuching, Sarawak, yesterday (29 October).
According to Utusan Sarawak, authorities believe that the woman had been dead for several days when found.

Police have since cordoned off the area to facilitate the investigation, with forensic officers seen combing through the vehicle and the surrounding area for evidence.
As of the time of writing, authorities have yet to release an official statement on the identity of the deceased or her cause of death.

According to local media, the deceased is believed to be a local woman who had been reported missing since Saturday (25 October).
On Tuesday (28 October), the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) issued a statement appealing for public information on the woman, Marianna Liew Ai Jia, who was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and a black skirt.
The 24-year-old salesperson went missing after she was last seen leaving her home in Tabuan Laru, Kuching, Sarawak, at around 3:30 PM.
