A mother and her daughter almost became victims to this apex predator, when a crocodile attacked and dragged them almost 10 metres into the water, while they were washing clothes nearby Sungai Merbau, Selangor.
The incident started when Raminten (mother) heard her daughter Natasyah screaming for help as the crocodile had bit her foot and tried to drag her into the river.
In the status update, the Twitter account wrote, “The mother immediately jumped into the river, before she too was bitten and dragged into the river, just like her daughter.”
“Hearing their plight, people in the area came to their help and managed to ground the crocodile and move it to a safer location. Thankfully, both mother and daughter only sustained injuries.”
The video has since garnered over 294,000 views.
