Calling all Minions lovers with a sweet tooth!
The Minions are back with an all new feature film, ‘Minions: The Rise of Gru’, and Crème De La Crème is their number one supporter!
Illumination’s iconic Minions are taking over the famed artisanal ice cream chain Crème De La Crème with a line of special ice cream desserts inspired by the larger-than-life characters.
This momentous collaboration celebrates the release of the feature film, Minions: The Rise of Gru – available in cinemas now.
Visitors will see all Crème De La Crème (CDLC) outlets do a 360-transformation into an immersive yellow world featuring the beloved Minions – Kevin, Bob, Stuart, and Otto.
Apart from this sensory experience for the eyes and of course your social feeds, the ice cream chain hailed as the best ice cream in Malaysia, has upped the ante at what they do best.
They have conceptualised a tantalising curation of Minions-themed ice-creams, petits gâteaux and celebration ice cream cakes.
Avid fans may also bring home the specially designed merchandise including cooler bags and a collectible sticker set to continue the celebration of the new movie at home.
The new treats on offer at CDLC outlets are:
1. Artisanal Ice Creams
There are two new ice creams for visitors to sample- a dark chocolate gelato swirled with caramelised bananas, butterscotch and chocolate crumble and an ultra-refreshing sorbet made from juicily sweet mangoes, pineapples & papayas.
2. Petits Gâteaux
With four new creations from the CDLC team, visitors will be spoiled for choice!
‘Bello Kevin!’ is a clever combination of coconut ice cream, mango passion sorbet, kedondong assam sorbet, almond crumble and white chocolate dip.
‘Bellow Otto!’ is a miniature Otto made with brown butter ice cream, pandan ice cream, coffee ice cream, banana brownie, spice crumble and white chocolate dip that will leave you in smiles.
‘Tara, tropa!’- Scrumptiously made of chocolate banana ice cream, passionfruit sorbet, salted butterscotch, dark chocolate, and almond crumble, you will be spoilt for choices as you pick from a selection of eight different petits gâteaux hand crafted after the facial expressions of Bob, Stuart & Jerry.
‘Me want Banana!’ is a hyper-realistic looking “banana” made from caramelised banana ice cream, cherry pineapple sorbet, roasted peanuts, cherries & white chocolate dip.
3. Celebration Cake
Tualaliloo Ti Amo- An ultra-cute celebration cake which features seven different Minions.
It is deliciously hand-crafted from chocolate banana ice cream swirled with salted butterscotch, home-baked French dark chocolate almond crumble and perfectly balanced with a dash of passionfruit sorbet.
