Nowadays, snatch thieves are always looking for the most innovative way possible to deprive the people of their belongings. But here is one of the current methods used by snatch thieves that we should beware of.
Most of us are guilty of leaving our cars unlocked when we’re pouring gas, since we’re within close proximity of our car anyway. However, if you think you and your belongings are absolutely safe, think again.
A video recently surfaced online, showing how easily a snatch thief preys on unsuspecting people. The thief steals valuables from the driver’s car when victims have their backs turned away from the car while they are pouring gas, as reported by Stomp.
Although the origins of the video is unknown, it definitely got netizens being more wary about their surroundings the next time they fill up their tank – especially alone.
The last clip of the video also shows how easily one’s car could be stolen away from right under their nose. The clip shows a woman leaving her car presumably to pay her petrol bill. However she left her ignition in the car and that causes the thief to take full advantage of the situation.
