During the daily briefing hosted by Director-General of Health, Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, it was reported that the new Covid-19 cases in Malaysia for today (2 May) went up to 105. The total number of cases in Malaysia has been brought up to 6,176.
Among the 105 new cases, 11 of them are import cases.
Fortunately, no deaths were recorded for the past 24 hours. Thus, the death toll remains at 103 cases.
A total of 116 patients have recovered from the coronavirus, bringing the total recovery to 4,326 cases.

The sudden surge of local cases is indeed worrying, and many Malaysians are concerned about the Conditional MCO that will commence on Monday (4 May).
