Firefighters were forced to break into a home in Taman Desa Aman, Padang Meha to remove the body of a victim that was locked inside earlier today.
According to the Assistant Director of the Fire and Rescue Operations Division, of th Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia, Kedah, Fire Chief Mohamadul Ehsan Mohd Zain received a call regarding the issue at about 1.37pm today (13 June).
Neighbours of the victim were concerened as they had not seen him for several days already. The firefighters had to use special equipment to break in as it was locked from the inside.
Upon entering the home, the team discovered the victim’s body, Nordin Abdullah, 62, lying in bed. The body was confirmed dead by the Ministry of Health shortly thereafter.
The case has been classified as a sudden death.
