A wholesome video went viral on social media recently, showing how students and teachers of a primary school in Perak gave a flurry of gifts and cards to Mak Cik Midah, a woman who just retired from working as a cleaner there.
Shared by the woman’s daughter, TikTok user @symazani on the platform, the post has been viewed over 406,800 times and garnered over 23,200 likes.
Besides that, she also shared two follow-up videos from the post, showing some of the gifts and cards received in more detail.
In the first video, the living room of the woman’s house can be seen being full of bags containing gifts received from both students and teachers.

Seeing the amount of gifts she received, with most of the cards being handwritten and with creative drawings, the retired ‘Makcik Cleaner’ is undoubtedly well-loved by the students and teachers of the primary school.
In fact, she is so well-loved that the school even held a farewell event to celebrate her retirement, where she received all these gifts.

Meanwhile, in a separate follow-up video, @symazani did an ‘unboxing’ with her mother on the gifts the latter received, which included various items such as a ring, cash, handbags and the most creative of all, a replica of a wooden Kampung house.
