Following Johnny Depp’s victory in his trial against Amber Heard for their divorce, fans around the world have been “pleading” for the actress to be removed from Aquaman: The Lost Kingdom, and generally, the entertainment industry.
Aquaman 2 is set to release in worldwide cinemas this Christmas, and while the trailer has shown only 1 scene that features Amber Heard as Mera, her ex-BF, Elon Musk allegedly threatened Warner Brothers Studio to keep Amber in the movie. Despite the cry for Amber Heard to be removed from the movie, the studio found it tough to do so after receiving a message from Elon, which they dubbed “scorched-earth letter.”
“Keep her, or I’ll burn the house down”
According to a report by The Variety, a source who is familiar with the battle that went on behind the scenes claimed that Elon threatened to burn the house down if Amber was not brought back for the sequel to 2018’s Aquaman. Elon, however, did not respond when contacted for a comment.
Elon and Musk dated from 2016 to 2018, despite their on-and-off relationship.
After the alleged threat from Elon, Warner Brothers Studio decided to move forward with Amber in The Lost Kingdom, but that was not the only issue that film crews had to endure during the production. Jason Momoa, the man who played the King of Atlantis himself allegedly wanted Amber out from the movie too.
Jason Momoa as Johnny Depp?
In a similar report by The Variety, Amber Heard claimed that Jason would come into the movie set drunk and dressed up as Johnny Depp.
“Jason drunk — late on set. Dressing like Johnny. Has all the rings too,” Amber said in her notes.
According to Amber, Jason was not the only one who treated her badly but James Wan, the mastermind behind both Aquaman movies was reportedly being harsh to the actress too due to her legal battle with Johnny Depp.
Amber added that she was not allowed to post about Aquaman 2, at all.
Regardless, will you be watching Aquaman: The Lost Kingdom when it swims into the theatres?
