The Hallyu wave has hit the globe super duper hard in the past 10 years when K-pop became such a widely-loved music genre. Of course, we can’t leave out the amazing Korean food and dramas too.
Hence, we’ve all dreamt of visiting South Korea before, to check out all the femes places (such as Apgujeong, Gangnam and Hangang river) often mentioned or illustrated in those TV shows.
After all, who wouldn’t want to taste all that authentic Korean cuisine we always salivate over when they’re shown on our screens? More importantly, who wouldn’t want to see our favourite idols in real life?!
Well, what if I told you that you could do all that and even be a star in a Korean TV show? I’m not kidding!
Yep, this is real guys. The Korean broadcast station, CJ E&M, is currently looking for non-Korean people to join their latest programme called SeoulMate where participants get to chill with celebrities!
To be more precise, these guests will be privileged enough to be LIVING with those celebrities for about two to three days and the entire thing will be filmed for the show.

Here’s the T&Cs to be able to qualify for this:
- You must be non-Korean
- You can be from any part of the world (except Korea)
- You can be of any age
- It doesn’t matter whether you’re male or female
Best of all, you can even apply in groups with friends, family, or your boyfriend or girlfriend. You don’t have to be alone in order to be eligible to apply.
Interested applicants need to film a self-introductory video, explain why they are interested in visiting Korea, and email the video to ten.jc@levart.evilo.
Hurry though, because the submission due date is September 14, 2017!
The CJ E&M team will then contact selected participants and filming will take place around late August to September.
