Ninjas are admired by most because well, they are skilled in the art of battle, quick, stealthy, and come on, they have throwing stars!

Being a ninja may be a life long dream for some but this may just be your chance to actually become one!

Japan’s Aichi prefecture is looking to increase its tourism by hiring 6 ninjas and each ninja will be paid 180,000 Yen + bonus (RM6,500) a month. Besides the plentiful pay, accommodation is provided so you don’t have to worry about spending on rent! Sounds like a dream come true.

Instead of engaging battles and killing foes, the hired ninjas are more involved in performance art. The job requires those that are selected to be part of a PR team – yes, official PR team for Aichi – and you’ll also probably do a few cool stunts on stage, including backflips.

Hurry up! Because applications close on March 22. If selected, you’ll undergo training and be ready to go by the end of April.

It was mentioned that the Japanese language is not a requirement so.. Fellow Malaysians, you all know what to do!

Anyone 18 or over can apply, but applicants must love history and tourism, and acrobatic experience is strongly preferred. The work will largely be hospitality-related, assisting tourists with the ninja experience, making media appearances, etc.

“Our ninjas also have to be good at talking to promote tourism, although ninjas are basically required to be secretive,” said Satoshi Adachi of the prefectural government’s tourism promotion unit.

He added that they will also “have to be able to do backward handsprings and some dance moves.

For any interested parties, send your resume in to info@aichi-ninja.rdy.jp and who knows, you might be able to list down “ninja” when you update your resume.
