The cafe scene in Malaysia is strong with coffee shops after coffee shops lining up the streets. Yes, they are good places to chill with friends or a date, but recent studies show some pretty scary effects of coffee! Well, for ladies at least.

Sorry coffee lovers, apparently drinking coffee may lead to smaller boobs.

This shocking discover of coffee shrinking your boobs was done by Oncologist Helena Jernstroem, who was researching the links between big boobs and breast cancer.

She found that woman who drink three cups of coffee a day reduced the risk of breast cancer, but the effects were a little bittersweet as well.

She conducted her study on 270 female coffee drinkers which were surveyed. It was found that some of them found that their boobs did reduce in size.

However, it doesn’t happen to just everyone! It was found that half of her respondents carried a gene that is responsible for shrinking breasts.

For women with this gene, if they keep drinking coffee, Jernstroem’s research indicates that their breasts will reduce in size.

No, you wouldn’t be able to drink till you’ve no boobs left! But the slight change for us girls are a pretty big deal.

“They will get smaller but the breasts aren’t just going to disappear.” Jernstroem says.

“Anyone who thinks they can tell which women are coffee drinkers just from their bra measurements will be disappointed. The problem is that there are two measures for a bra — the cup size and the girth, so you wouldn’t be able to tell.” Jernstroem added.

So basically, it will shrink your boobs but the change would not be TOO noticeable. Either way, I’m staying off coffee for now!
