As he is no longer the Prime Minister of Malaysia, it seems that Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri has been occupying his time by sharing content on other aspects of his life.

A few days ago, he uploaded a TikTok video introducing his favourite foods which drew plenty of praise from Malaysians.

Just yesterday, Ismail Sabri shared his weekly exercise routine via a video on his social media accounts.

In the post, Ismail wrote, “Every Sunday is my exercise day. I will rotate around different parks based on what netizens have suggested. Yesterday, I went to Taman Botani Perdana, KL again as the first time I went I did not manage to finish due to the rain.”

“The special thing is that this time I was accompanied by the KL Mayor and DBKL officers. After a brisk walk, I was brought by the mayor to parks such as Taman Bunga Raya and Taman Orkid.”

Ismail Sabri shared that he even managed to spend tea time with the mayor and the DBKL officers around Taman Botani KL at the Taman Herba.

“Got to eat my favourites, cucur kodok, goreng pisang, goreng sukun and keropok lekor as well as teh tarik. Just finished burning calories and now we add more calories back.. hehe now it’s  ‘balanced’,” he added.

He ended the post by sharing that next week he will be visiting a different park.

In the video, Ismail Sabri could also be seen posing with the public for pictures.

Good effort!

The video has since gone viral on Twitter. Netizens praised Ismail Sabri for making it a point to exercise every week.

“Good effort. Trying to stay healthy and fit since you are getting older. Whatever it is, take care of your health and exercise a lot.”

“Early practice for the routine of a retiree,” said a user.

On the other hand, some netizens asked why such a huge entourage was needed.

“You need bodyguards just to go exercise.”

Nothing says man of the people than walking with entourages and cameras,” commented another user.
