There is such a thing as being too civilized and this surely takes the proverbial cake.

The new generation of locked toilets at Mcdonald’s, Bukit Bintang was recently spotted, namely, toilets which only allowed paid customers entry to use its facilities.

Taking to Twitter, @tekong shared, “while it is common for restaurants to give out Wi-Fi passwords to paying customers, Mekdi takes it a step further by giving out passcodes to use their toilets.”

The post has gone viral and left plenty of netizens astonished at how true it was. “Are you sure their toilets are locked.”

The original poster then responded with a picture of the said toilet alongside the keypad next to the door for customers to enter their codes.

As it is probably a part of their efforts to keep their toilets clean, netizens shared that because McDonald’s in Bukit Bintang is situated in a very congested area, many misuse the facility, and disregard the untold rule that you need to be a customer to use the amenities.
