“FOOD IS LOVE, FOOD IS LIFE,” – Anyone and everyone

Food doesn’t just feed the stomachs of hungry people, it also feeds the soul. But the tragic part about eating a little too much is gaining weight.

Well, to counter this problem, Juliana Fan came up with the brilliant idea of making inedible food. Wait, whut?!

This amazing woman from Singapore makes miniature food and incorporates the yummy-looking grub into accessories!

Juliana, along with her husband Marcus Lim, started ‘Miniature Asian Chef’ together and they are definitely making moolah, Vulcan Post reported.

It all began as a hobby when the creative woman was still young.

However, after showing Marcus her collection of miniature food one day, the hobby slowly turned into a business. She worked from her dining room where it takes about six to eight hours to shape, paint and bake everything.

“The people wearing my products matter more than the products.

“I am happy that my creations make others happy, and when customers also share their special memories with me.”

Besides just creating these delicious little snacks, she also conducts workshops to teach others how to make their own favourite food.

How adorable are these mini bites???

Best of all, there’s no need for any specialised tools to make these creations. Sometimes, Juliana uses simple everyday items such as a toilet brush, disposable chopsticks and even baby powder!

One epic thing about this amazing couple is that, unlike other similar crafters, they aren’t doing this business full-time.

Though the process of creating these mouth-watering accessories may seem extremely tedious and time-consuming, the couple is still able to juggle this and their demanding day jobs.

When it comes to quitting their day job to focus on this business full-time, the couple is uncertain whether it can pay all the bills.

Ironically, their part-time business is seemingly doing well, with earnings over SGD$20,000 (approx. RM61,800) in a year. Seems like a pretty good amount of money for a side job, eh…

If you’re interested in Juliana’s creations, check out her Instagram and official website to feast your eyes. You can even find her yummy kuehs and cakes on Naiise, an online platform that also sells local food-themed cushions!

Now, shut up and take my money!
