The Ministry of Health today announced a new update to MySejahtera which brings a new shift to the app, whereby it has evolved into more than just a Covid-19 contact tracing app. Called MySejahtera 2.0, the new update brings a revamped look as well as additional health features.

Shared via the official Facebook pages of MySejahtera and the Ministry of Health, the new features are meant to make it easier for users to perform health-related matters. Moreover, the most notable change has got to be the home page which has a cleaner look as well as how the Covid-related features has been relegated to a different page instead of being front and centre.

A quick look at the new front page shows the main menu being more compact and sporting only these 6 submenus:

  • Traveller
  • Infectious Disease Tracker
  • Helpdesk
  • Manage Dependents
  • Locate Health Facilities

Besides that, MySejahtera 2.0 now won’t display users’ Covid-19 vaccination status at its home page. Instead, it is now located at a separate ‘Covid-19’ tab accessible from the app’s bottom menu alongside users’ Covid-19 vaccination record.

As for its new features, MySejahtera now has a ‘Health screening record’ and a ‘Children immunisation record’ functions. Both features are now live when you update MySejahtera to its latest version on the Apple App Store, Google Play Store as well as the Huawei App Gallery.

In addition to the two, Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin also asserted via his official Twitter account that two additional features will make their debut on MySejahtera in the near future. These include users’ blood donation record as well as a digital ‘pink book’ record for mothers’ and children’s health record.

So, what do you guys think of MySejahtera 2.0? Share your thoughts with us in the comments.
