Some of you may remember how houses back in the day had really high ceilings.

One teacher in Seremban, thought about how he could utilise all that space and set out on a mission.

Muzhaffar Nawi had bought an old house from someone but found that the space was a little small. Fortunately, there was a room with a high ceiling, so, he cracked his head thinking about how he could make use of the space.

He then came up with the idea of a loft and started renovations in that direction. The 11 x 11 room was transformed with a stair set leading to a cozy space and a fresh coat of paint. The cost of all the renovations done including wiring came up to just RM5,000!

As for how they are going to use the space, Muzhaffar furnished the space with a desk and a bed. It functions as an area where Muzhaffar can easily teach online in peace. His wife can also utilise the space to do her sewing and they can chill together and watch movies there too.

The couple kept the decorations to a minimum and functional.

Well, this is certainly a very good idea for those who are a little tight on space and those who live in old houses with high ceilings.
