A car salesman in Turkey has been accused of stealing money and trying to kill his boss by spiking his drink with a Covid patient’s saliva.

As reported by Times Now, the car dealership owner, Ibrahim Unverdi, has filed a criminal complaint against the employee who has worked with him for over three years. In his complaint, he states that the employee has allegedly tried to infect him with the virus.

The employee, Ramazan Cimen, has also been accused of trying to kill Ibrahim and his wife after he allegedly caught him stealing 215,000 Turkish lira (approx. RM123,500).

Wine

According to Hurriyet newspaper, Ibrahim had given the money (which came from the sale of cars) to Ramazan and instructed him to take it to the office. However, he disappeared with the cash.

“He even had the key to my safe, I completely trusted him. Later, I called him multiple times and could not reach him. He answered the next day. He said that he needed the money and stole it because he owed it to a loan shark,” Ibrahim explained.

Ibrahim then claimed that the former employee had also spiked his drink with the saliva of a COVID-19 patient before attempting to steal the money. Luckily, Ibrahim didn’t consume the spiked drink.

“Ramazan bought saliva from a Covid-19 patient for 500 Turkish lira (RM287) and tried to mix it into my drink. I found out about this from one of my employees,” Urvendi said.

Crime 2

Ibrahim decided to seek help from the authorities after receiving threats sent through messages confirming that Ramazan had tried to kill him with the coronavirus.

He said that one such message read, “I could not kill you with the virus. I will shoot you in the head next time.”

Ibrahim added on to say, “This is the first time I have heard of such a bizarre killing technique. Thank God I did not become sick. God is always with the good.”

Ramazan Cimen has been formally accused of attempted murder and threatening behaviour and is now being hunted down by the police.
