It has been reported that Artini had been battling the virus for weeks since testing positive at 30 weeks pregnant last month. Her condition, however, did not improve. She passed away a few weeks later and never got to see her newborn baby daughter.

Based on the many social media postings that were shared among her good friends and colleagues, Artini was a dedicated nurse and a doting wife and mother.

Not only did she raise four children with her husband, but she also excelled at work by specialising in coronary care and pursued a Masters in Critical Care Nursing somewhere last year.

They have also shared information and updates stating that Artini’s newborn was safely delivered through caesarean section and that her newborn is currently at the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) of the same hospital.

We would like to express our condolences to Artini’s family. May she rest in peace.
