When we think of libraries, we only think about how it’s filled with endless shelves of books. However, this new state library in Seremban is different!

Taking to Facebook, the Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Aminuddin Harun officiated the new Negeri Sembilan Library.

The old library used to be above the UMNO building in the old town, however, because of expensive rent and the inadequate parking spaces it is no longer a suitable place for a library.

So, they made the decision to move it to Wisma PKNNS in Seremban 2 (behind AEON).

The MB said that Wisma PKNNS is the perfect place for a library as it is peaceful, quiet, has an abundance of parking spaces and the rent costs RM10,000 less than the previous location.

The move to the new location including the renovation etc. costs a total of RM2.6 million. Other than the usual shelves and books, there are also three e-sports rooms with multiple consoles!

The MB says,

“I believe and I am confident that this upgrade will attract the youth to love gaining knowledge. With this, I would love to invite everyone to visit the library.”

This is such a nice library! We sure hope that all of the users will take care of the consoles and the books provided so that everyone gets a chance to use it!
