There Will Be 70% Discount On JPJ And SPAD Summons In Conjunction With Merdeka Month

Time to pay your summons!

A 70 per cent discount is offered for payment of summons issued by the Road Transport Department (JPJ) and the Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD) starting 1st to 31st August 2020.

Malaysia’s Transport Minister Dr Wee Ka Siong said this offer given was for summonses issued for offences under the Road Transport Act 1987 (Act 333), Commercial Vehicle Licensing Board Act (Act 334), Land Public Transport Act (Act 715) and Rules and Orders thereunder, including cases still in blacklist action.

According to Wee, all the transportation agencies including JPJ, Urban Transformation Centre (UTC) and other channels of payment such as mySIKAP website, JPJ Kiosk and JPJ Mobile application will be giving out this 70 per cent discount offer.

As for those who committed blacklisted illegal acts, they will have to show up at any JPJ branches for registration before paying the summons.

This offer is in conjunction with the month of Merdeka, August.
