Defence Minister: E-Hailing Services Can Now Operate Without Time Limit & At Full Capacity

During the Movement Control Order, e-hailing services, as well as all public transport, were only allowed to operate till 10pm daily. There were also only two people allowed in the car to maintain social distancing.

In his latest press conference, Defence Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, announced that henceforth there will be NO more time limit for e-hailing and taxi services to operate. Not only that, but the car will also be allowed to take in full capacity of passengers.

Drivers are required to keep track of their passengers information as part of the SOP and for easier contact tracing. This news will definitely be greeted with open arms by drivers as the MCO has definitely affected their livelihoods.
