The country finally received its first lowest number of new cases yesterday (36) with zero deaths in a very long time.

However, as happy as we can be, we should also be cautious, because according to Lobak Merah, our health ministry passed warning that there could be a possibility the country witnesses a re-surge in cases in the upcoming two weeks, based on the case tracing they have been doing.

“KKM is working hard to trace cases especially on Malaysians that have just returned from abroad and those within the country under the EMCO”, said Health DG, Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

He also noted that the reason why Malaysia is seeing such low cases is because of the proactive and aggressive methods the country has taken since MCO phase 1. That being said, he has urged all Malaysians to keep cooperating as a means to banish Covid-19 once and for all.
