With the Mid-Autumn Festival (otherwise known as the Mooncake Festival) coming this September, people are already indulging in seasonal treats.

Mooncakes are definitely one delicacy that everyone enjoys during this season, and it looks like this company is capitalising on the bubble tea craze sweeping the region.

Singaporean mooncake brand Chang Ho Sek recently unveiled its brand-new bubble tea mooncakes, which come in two flavours — milk tea and matcha!

You can also expect a chewy surprise as you bite into these mooncakes, as there’s boba packed inside each and every one of these cakes!

According to their website, these snow skin bubble tea mooncakes are only available for pre-orders and are priced at;

  • SGD$60 (approx RM181) for 2 pieces (tingkat or tiffin packaging)
  • SGD$90 (approx RM272) for 4 pieces (tingkat)
  • SGD$81 (approx RM244) for 4 pieces (box packaging)

Apart from bubble tea, they also sell D24 and Mao Shan Wang durian-flavoured mooncakes filled with durian flesh!

So far, it appears that these mooncakes are only available in Singapore, but given how much Malaysians are obsessed with bubble tea lately, we won’t be surprised to see some local brands following suit in the near future!

Would you give these mooncakes a try? Let us know in the comments section!
