This serene town is located near the Annapurna Circuit, which is a popular trekking trail so if you’re feeling adventurous, you can sign up for it too! This nature-filled town has spectacular views of Phewa Lake and moderately sub-tropical temperatures in the summer.

You’ve probably heard of Angkor Wat but dismissed it as “just another temple”. This is where you’re wrong because this magnificent temple is actually the largest religious monument in the world!
In fact, this temple is the perfect example of the fallen mighty Khmer empire’s architecture. Tourists usually head to Siem Reap just to visit the Angkor Archaelogical park that consists of so many more temples other than the famed Angkor Wat.

Full of mystical wonders, one can see why this city was declared as a UNESCO World Heritage site and is amazingly clean as well. Notable places to visit are the majestic Wat Xieng Thong and Wat Chomsi while the peaceful Kuang Si Waterfalls is a cooling place to refresh your senses.
