We get it, there’s no place like the bustling malls Subang and Kuala Lumpur have to offer but Putrajaya has it’s own unique charm we think is worth the shout!

1. Boat Tours
Putrajaya is known for it’s picturesque landscape because they’ve got a pretty massive lake, perfect for you to amp up some serene vibes for your visit. Located around their iconic Putra Mosque, Putra Square has a few boat and cruise tours to offer for you to enjoy a 45-minute ride showcasing the many bridges and architecture of the area.
You have options to choose from a traditional malay boat ride or even an air-conditioned cruise.
We suggest the traditional boat so that you can get up close to the waters and winds during the ride! Just imagine the sunset views. ?

2. Kayak
For those not afraid of water and craving something more active and adventurous, checkout the options of kayaking at Putrajaya. Here you can choose to kayak nearby the Putra Mosque or visit Putrajaya’s wetland park for a more intimate time with nature.
Be sure to dress appropriately because you might get wet! If kayaking is too intense for your biceps, then perhaps you can work those calves by opting for a two-person paddle boat (RM10.60 per hour).

3. Putrajaya Challenge Park (Taman Cabaran)
If you’re REALLY looking for a challenge then head on to one of Putrajaya’s gem. Taman Cabaran is equipped with great extreme sports facilities on it’s 46.73 hectares park that comprises of an Indoor Artificial Wall Climbing Complex (for wall climbing gym), Skatepark (for skating), Thrill Park (Bike Park/Mountain Biking Trails) as well an amphitheaters area where kids and visitors can train their basic tricks and moves.
How cool is that, right? You can bring your bicycles, roller-skates and skateboards here to test out the park area. It’s probably one of the most comfortable park facility we have here in Klang Valley so don’t miss out!

4. Putrajaya Wetlands Park
If those previous options were still too thrill-seeking for you, our next two options are for those looking for a nice, chill time with nature. Putrajaya is known to be Malaysia’s administrative capital, mostly filled with government offices. As much as that’s true, Putrajaya also has a few pretty parks, worth the visit for anyone who knows how to appreciate nature and fresh air.
At Putrajaya Wetlands Park, you can rent a bicycle to explore the grounds. Here there’s a family of swans that you can spot swimming on the lake. It’s a great place to be to escape the bustling city for a while and reconnect with nature as you catch-up with friends or family!

5. Taman Saujana Hijau
We are OBSSESED with the stunning landscapes found at Taman Saujana Hijau. Amp up your picnic game with your friends or family and prepare a delicious packed breakfast to eat at this magical park. Everywhere you look here feels like it came straight out from overseas.
You can enjoy a peaceful stroll here, cycle or simply plop yourself down under a shady tree. This park is a must-visit if you’re at Putrajaya!

6. District 21
Now if you’re looking for an indoor activity to do at Putrajaya, District21 is the place to be! It’s the perfect activity to do on a rainy day, being active and playful even when the sun’s not out.
This massive 70,000 square foot sports and recreation facility has a post-apocalyptic concept. Adventure seekers can test out 10 thrilling attractions here. These attractions will have you riding, sliding, climbing, and flying through thrilling, physically demanding courses that’s sure to make you sweat.
Our favourite part are their trampolines! It may be pricey to some but with 10 attractions to check out, we think it’s worth it. Plus it’s conveniently located at IOI City Mall, making it easy to find parking and grab yummy bites.
