36 men in China realised they were scammed after their “girlfriend,” who is the same person, persuaded them to purchase a house for her.
The men, who were madly in love, expressed interest in marrying the woman, but there was a condition. They had to take mortgage loans worth millions of RMB to buy a house for their “lovers. When the houses were successfully purchased, the woman disappeared into thin air.

“Liu Jia,” everyone’s ex-girlfriend
Different property owners in the same building started to notice something was off when multiple men revealed the name of their ex-girlfriendsāLiu Jiaāwhich prompted the local authorities to believe it was a scam syndicate, reported Sin Chew.
All victims are in their 30s, and they met Liu Jia on an application, and just within a few months, the conversation elevated to the talk of marriage.
Liu Jia, who claimed to be 30 years old, behaved gently and was a traditional woman, according to “all her ex-boyfriends.” Liu Jia agreed to tie the knot with the men only if they got her a property, which would be followed by meeting her parents.

To convince the men, Liu Jia would fork out tens of thousands of RMB as part of the down payment and promised to share the mortgage with her partners. The men, who thought they met the one, decided to sign the contract and get Liu Jia a property before reality slapped their faces.
Liu Jia, however, only wanted a property in Huizhou City and would always refuse to include her name during the application for the property. Once the application went through, Liu Jia became cold and distant before leaving the man completelyāwith mortgages worth millions of RMB.
Gentlemen, what are your red flags when talking to the potential one? Does it involve a sudden large investment?
