If you make good food and treat the customers well, your business is likely to boom, especially when returning customers constantly spread the word about your food.

As for the vendors in Ramadan Bazaar, the amount they make in a day might just surprise you. A vendor in one of the bazaars recently revealed that he makes over RM10,000 a day by just selling fruit juices at his stall.

That’s almost equivalent to 2 or 3 months of our monthly salary, mostly.

The vendor, Kamarul, who operates his stall with over 10 manpower at Nilai Ramadan Bazaar said that he can sell up to 2,000 cups of drinks in just a day, which guarantees him a daily sales of between RM7,000 to RM9,000.

Of course, nothing stays the same every day. Kamarul said that the weather plays a role in generating his sales and income, reported Sinar Harian.

“Business will be slower than usual if it rains.”

Kamarul sold a plethora of drinks at his stall. Last year, he came up with 28 different beverages but this year, he ramped up the selections a little and came up with 34 different flavours!

“The drinks are sold between RM5 to RM8. This year, I had no choice but to increase RM1 for all my drinks.”

Kamarul emphasised that selling drinks is his main source of income to support his family. On other days, he will also set up his stalls at night markets and in just 4 days, he can get over RM10,000 in sales.

Business is booming for Kamarul, especially during Ramadan when our Muslime friends are craving drinks to break their fast. To those who frequent the Ramadan Bazaars, which has been your favourite spot and what do you always get?
