Previously, a high-speed chase between a Perodua Myvi and the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) in Jeli, Kelantan, went viral. The chase was prompted by the Myvi fleeing the scene after patrolling police officers found the car suspiciously parked at the roadside.

PDRM further revealed that the couple inside the Myvi had planned to get intimate inside the vehicle.

The 21-year-old Myvi driver was charged in court today

Now, the 21-year-old driver is facing charges related to performing oral sex on his 17-year-old girlfriend, who is a Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) candidate.

The driver, university student Muhammad Yushakimi Jamaludin, was charged in the Sessions Court in Pasir Mas, Kelantan, today (9 December) with two counts of performing oral sex on his girlfriend.

He is also accused of intentionally engaging in sexual intercourse against the order of nature with the 17-year-old in his Perodua Myvi on 29 November.

The accused only has 2 more semesters to graduate

During the proceedings, Deputy Public Prosecutor Siti Aiysha Na’ilah Harizan offered bail of RM20,000. The accused’s lawyer, however, requested leniency in the bail because the accused is still young and only has 2 more semesters left before graduation.

The judge then allowed bail at RM10,000 with one surety, and the case was set for remention on 11 January 2026.

The accused was charged under Section 377A of the Penal Code, which is punishable under Section 377B of the same Code and provides for a maximum prison sentence of 20 years and whipping, if convicted.

He was also charged under Section 14 (d) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017 and is punishable under Section 14 of the same Act, reported Sinar Harian.

The parents of the accused, who came from Ipoh, were also present at the court to post bail.
