Eating fried chicken and other fast food is something that many of us enjoy and some people love it so much that they don’t mind eating it every day. This 17-year-old teenage boy in Kaohsiung, Taiwan was one of those people but he found out the hard (or not so hard) way that having a really unhealthy diet and not doing any exercise was really bad for him.

According to UDN, the boy’s favourite food are fried chicken, hamburgers, and french fries which he would eat daily at almost every meal. In addition to this oily, unhealthy diet full of fat, the boy also did not like to exercise and pretty soon, he became overweight.

The teen is 165cm tall but weighed 80kg and based on the BMI calculations, he was in the overweight range. The news portal said that due to his weight, it made his genitals look rather small in comparison. However, he ignored all these and continued enjoying his fried chicken until he got his first girlfriend. Their relationship blossomed and about one to two weeks later, their raging hormones took over and the couple decided to have sexual relations.

It was at this crucial moment that his manhood failed him as he could not stay erect and both of them ended up being disappointed. Uh-oh! Shocked at his erectile dysfunction (ED), the teen quickly went to the doctor to find out what had happened to his penis.

After the doctor examined him, he was surprised to find that the boy’s cholesterol level was way over that of a normal person. His cholesterol levels came in at 300mg/dL while a healthy reading should be below 200mg/dL. Apparently, this high cholesterol could be the reason why the teen was experiencing ED at such a young age.

According to Healthline, one of the most common causes for ED include atherosclerosis, where there is a narrowing of blood vessels. High cholesterol levels can lead to atherosclerosis as the cholesterol build ups in the arteries and narrow the blood vessels.

The doctor treated the teen with medicine to lower his cholesterol levels and Viagra but warned him to make lifestyle changes to reduce his weight as well. Luckily for him, just three months after a new and improved diet, the teen’s weight dropped to 70kg.

This is why it’s important to always stay active and maintain a healthy diet, guys!
