According to a statement by Kota Setar Acting Police Chief Superintendent Syed Basri Syed Ali, the incident took place at Jalan Kuala Kedah in the Kedah capital city on Sunday (22 October).

The accident was caused by a 14-year-old female driver who was driving a car belonging to her mother’s friend.

Driving during heavy rain, the underage driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a motorcycle.
