Hear ye, hear ye! Pet lovers, you’re going to love this piece of information we have in store for you!

The biggest pet exhibition in Malaysia is back and this time they brought something interesting with them – an alpaca. That’s right, you read it right the first time!

Pet World Malaysia 2019 Exhibition is bringing that fuzzy-forever-smiling, llama-like animal just for us, and we are excited AF. I’m squealing with joy! 😀

We know that the thought of seeing an alpaca has already got you excited, so you should know that you can find this cute animal lounging in the Petting Zoo of the exhibition. Yass!

In addition to that, here are some other things you can see and do during the three-day-long exhibition:

  • Pet World Malaysia X Shopee Activity Zone. There will be amazing games, photo booth etc.
  • 1st SuperGroom Barkleigh Grooming Competition.
  • Pet World Malaysia 2019 Talent Competition. Animals Got Talent…too! 😛
  • Pet Club Gatherings.
  • Celebrity & Influencer Appearance.
  • Petting Zoo. See the Alpaca here!
  • Reptile & Small Animal Exhibition.

If you didn’t know, this year’s (2019) pet exhibition will include exhibitors from the pet industry like pet food suppliers, NGOs (non-profitable organisations), pet associations, pet clubs, etc. In a statement which was shared with WORLD OF BUZZ, Jonathan Kan said,

“Our goal is to create greater awareness for pet adoption through our #ilovemypet campaign. With support from various local celebrities and influencers, we hope to highlight the benefits of pet adoption by encouraging them to share their own pet adoption stories using the hashtag #adoptdontshop and #noanimalcruelty.”

FYI, Jonathan Kan is the managing director of Fair & Events Management Sdn Bhd. They are the organiser of Pet World Malaysia 2019.

Here’s a video of last year’s (2018) exhibition:

Besides that, 2019 is the first year where Pet Malaysia will be joining hands with M-Cash and Shopee to “integrate the digitalisation of the expo”. In addition to that, they have decided that MCash E-Wallet will be the “Official E-Wallet” for Pet World Malaysia 2019. Nice!

Like any other E-Wallet, MCash can be used for bill payments, airtime reload, e-parking and others. As of now, they have more than 200,000 community members. Wowda!

What’s even more exciting is that you can use the official e-wallet to donate to your favourite animal shelter. This is great news!

We know that you can’t wait to go to the pet exhibition, but before you make your way there, here are some important deets that you should know:

  • Venue: Mid Valley Exhibition & Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpur
  • Time & Date: 10am to 9pm; 28th to 30th June 2019

It has already begun, guys!
