At the start of the video, the JPJ officer, riding on a patrol vehicle, can be seen waiting patiently for the traffic light to turn green alongside several other road users.

Suddenly, a female motorcyclist can be seen slowly riding to the very front of the intersection before casually turning left and running the red light.

Seeing this, the JPJ officer immediately chased after her and instructed her to pull over.

He then reprimanded the motorcyclist for her irresponsible action, asserting,

“Why did you go while the traffic light was red? Even if you’re in a hurry, look to your left and right, I was there. Even I can stop for the red light, why can’t you?”

The motorcyclist also ‘kantoi’ for not having a valid road tax and insurance for the 2-wheeler

The JPJ officer then asked the motorcyclist to produce her driver’s license and the motorcycle’s road tax and insurance.

While her license is valid until 2026, the JPJ officer found that the motorcycle’s road tax and insurance had expired.

He further reprimanded the woman, saying that she could be fined RM300 and incur demerit points for running the red light.

Moreover, the JPJ officer stressed the importance of having insurance in case of accidents and revealed that she could have her motorcycle seized for not having a valid road tax and insurance.

The JPJ officer exercised discretion, and the motorcyclist got off with a warning

After giving an earful to the motorcycle, the officer exercised his discretion and decided not to issue any summons or seize the motorcycle but only let her off with a warning.

He also made the woman promise never to run a red light again and renew the motorcycle’s road tax and insurance.
