With Malaysians becoming more conscious of social issues in the world and the need to give back to their community, AEON stands at the forefront of their shoppers’ pursuit to make a better future possible. Wanting to be not only a business but also a platform for positive change, the Malaysian AEON Foundation has teamed up with the Japanese home care brand Kao Malaysia to make the world a better place!

To create a positive impact, Kao Malaysia and AEON collaborated to take “Every Step Together, Caring For Milestones That Matter” for a better future!

“We all hold a strong commitment to the well-being of our communities. AEON, through its efforts in providing quality product selections; and Malaysian AEON Foundation, with its donation and fundraising initiatives, have made a true social impact. Through these ESG initiatives and campaigns, we can continue to craft a future that’s sustainable, inclusive, and bright. Together, we help empower Malaysians to lead more fulfilling lives.” said Ngo Wei Foo, Sales Vice President of Kao Malaysia.

Ever since AEON opened its doors in Malaysia, they have aspired to foster communities that share, help and give to those in need of basic necessities such as education, shelter and medical support. By teaming up with hygiene and cleanliness advocates Kao Malaysia, this ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) campaign by the two brands has raised RM28,000 to support the needy!

And they wouldn’t have done it without the help of Malaysians!

All this being said, the biggest contributor to their collaborative mission is the Malaysian people! By calling upon their customers who also want to make a difference, AEON and Kao are one step closer to manifesting the change we all want to see in the world!

With every purchase of their home care products, Kao has donated RM1 to Malaysian AEON Foundation to improve quality of life for many people!

Throughout August 2023, customers who spent a minimum of RM50 on home products under the Kao umbrella automatically donated RM1 to the AEON Foundation, as a contribution to their good cause.

Thanks to Kao Malaysia and Malaysian AEON Foundation’s mutual belief in a culture of cleanliness, their collaboration is bound to help Malaysians embrace the concept of Kirei (beauty) which makes people’s lives more beautiful every day. In the long run, this partnership will benefit Malaysian families and improve their everyday quality of life in both hygiene and comfort.

To top it all off, customers received a gift for their Kao purchase too!

These two brands also believe no good deed should go unrewarded. That’s why with every purchase of Kao Malaysia products at AEON, these customers got a free set of Kao goodies worth RM23 for their support! This includes products from Kao Attack, Magiclean, Laurier and BIORÉ Guard!
