67-year-old Mohd Noor Saad recently went viral on social media after slamming his Petai (stinky beans) onto the ground during a dispute with the enforcement officers in Port Dickson.
Fortunately, the dispute has since been resolved as Saad has been granted a temporary license, and he also revealed that he was trying to earn some money for his wife’s eye surgery. Recently, Saad’s 30-year-old daughter, Siti Nurhidayu shared a positive update.
A private hospital in Seremban will be sponsoring the medical fees for her mum’s surgery.

Siti said the hospital contacted her father on Sunday night (March 23) and informed him to bring his wife for consultation, which was scheduled for today (March 25). The hospital also assured Saad that they would bear the medical cost entirely.
Siti also said her mum was advised to undergo eye surgery since two years ago, reported Sinar Harian.
“We had to put the plan on hold due to financial constraints,” she explained.

Help is pouring in for the family
Following the viral incident, Siti said many unexpected events have followed and until today, her father is still receiving calls and offers for financial aid and basic necessities.
“People visit us at home day and night. To those who came forward and helped not just financially but also by providing us with daily necessities, I sincerely thank you.”
Siti also assured that her family has forgiven the authorities and would like to move on without prolonging the matter.
“I was in Johor and I received the video, which I later shared online. I was sad to see my father stuck in such a situation.”

“However, it was never my intention to gain sympathy,” Siti said.
In another updated report by Kosmo, it is revealed that Saad’s wife has been scheduled to undergo eye surgery on April 10, 2025. The surgery will cost around RM4,000.
