Due to the late-year monsoon season causing many parts of the Southeast Asia region to have almost daily rainfall, many areas in Thailand have been submerged.

A Thai woman living in Nakhon Chai Si district had a shock of her own when her bedroom suddenly turned into an aquarium full of fish overnight.

According to Asia One, TikTok user @lookpud935 uploaded a video of the incident on 31 October.

In the 43-second video clip, hundreds of small fish could be seen swimming in the knee-deep water while the woman stood on a red chair.

The woman wrote in her caption explaining that her room is filled with young northern snakehead, which is a type of snakehead fish that can be found in China and South Korea.

The video garnered over 1.2 million views, 114,000 likes and 4,300 comments.

As reported by Asia one, in many areas of Pathum Thani, the flooding has affected many workers in the area who would have no choice but to wad through ankle-deep water to serve customers.
