1. DJ Snake
Born as William Sami Etienne Grigahcine, DJ Snake rose to prominence after being nominated for two Grammy Awards thanks to his production and composition skills! Plus, this Algerian-French music producer has also collaborated with the one and only Lady Gaga on her Grammy-nominated album “Born This Way,” which he wrote, recorded and released!
With so many other bangers to his name including “Lean On”, “Let Me Love You” and “Turn Down For What”, his DJ set is one that music lovers CANNOT miss!
2. Yellow Claw
Hailing from Amsterdam, this Dutch music duo consisting of Jim Taihuttu and Nils Rondhuis first achieved fame in 2010 after founding and hosting a night party at the Jimmy Woo, one of Amsterdam’s most happening clubs! Since then, they’ve made big moves in the music scene by establishing their own music label, Barong Family and performing at countless festivals including the highly-acclaimed Tomorrowland Festival!
Catch them at Pinkfish and get your adrenaline pumping with Yellow Claw’s musical buffet of trap, hip hop, dubstep and moombahton!
3. Meduza
Meduza is one of the most well-known names in the dance music scene who got their break after releasing their hit song, “Piece of Your Heart” in 2019! After their hit song received a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Recording, the Italian trio kept themselves busy by recording and releasing new house tunes including “Paradise”, “Tell It to My Heart” and “Bad Memories”!
This forward-thinking trio has been the talk of clubbers and festivalgoers worldwide; so their live music is sure to make Malaysians dance the night away this 30 April!
4. Dash Berlin
Voted as the 7th most popular DJ artist in the world by DJ Mag in 2012, Dash Berlin made it big in the dance scene by producing numerous award-winning and platinum-selling hits for dance acts such as Alice Deejay, Vengaboys and Candee Jay! Their most famous track “Better Off Alone” became so big that it was later sampled by David Guetta in his song “Play Hard” and American rapper Wiz Khalifa in his record “Say Yeah”!
Dash Berlin is no stranger to Asia, with a fanbase that stretches far and wide! We’re excited to welcome him and his electric energy for Pinkfish Festival!
5. Gemini
Kim Jae-Min, aka Gemini, started making music at the age of 16 after being inspired by boy bands 7pm and FINEKIZ. After signing onto the famous Korean music label, HYPE PrO, he started gaining recognition in the K-hip hop scene with the release of hit singles, “Going”, “Know Me” and “Trip”!
Now with two albums and millions of Spotify and YouTube streams to his name, Gemini is coming to rap Malaysians’ ears off!
6. Joe Flizzow
This Malaysian rap veteran is known as one-half of the now-defunct duo, Too Phat! After going solo, Joe Flizzow went on to write and record his own music as well as collaborate with other artists! One of the most famous collabs being the now-ubiquitous superhit “Satu Malam di Temasek” featuring SonaOne!
With so many contributions to Malaysia’s hip-hop scene, this local rap godfather’s performance is not to be missed at the upcoming Pinkfish Festival!
7. BATE
Local DJ heroes Ethan Curzon and Yeoh Wai Hong are ardent believers of their bring-the-house-down mantra when it comes to dance music! And thanks to “One I Love”, their debut single as BATE, they’ve managed to go viral with more than 13 million streams worldwide!
Flaunting a Gold Award for being the first South East Asian DJs to achieve 10 million streams and countless festival appearances throughout Asia, BATE is ready to make you dance your socks off at Pinkfish!
8. Chukiess & Whackboi
This local dynamic duo consists of DJs and producers Chukie and Brian Doroz, who are known for their energetic live performances and their unique raw blend of progressive, techno and trance music!
