New Year’s is a great time to watch fireworks with friends and family. In numerous cities worldwide, impressive fireworks displays light up the sky right after the clock strikes midnight on December 31st.

In a recent incident, TikTok user @barathkchandran shared an update on what happened during his visit to Desa ParkCity Waterfront.

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Barath explained that he and his friends decided to go there after learning there were no New Year celebrations in other places.

“I thought Desa ParkCity might have fireworks since the park is more of a private place, and I’ve been there for the previous New Year to see fireworks.”

Upon reaching the location, they asked the valet staff if there would be fireworks that night, and the staff confirmed. They joined the crowd heading toward the lakeside where everyone gathered to watch the fireworks.

However, much to their surprise, they could hear the fireworks but couldn’t see them when the clock struck 12. And from the video, it’s clear that the view of the fireworks was unfortunately obstructed by a tall building.

“Even though we couldn’t witness the fireworks, we still enjoyed our night and just laughed about the whole situation.”

The New Year works in mysterious ways, but at the end of the day, it’s still New Year’s. As long as you’re surrounded by the people you love, with or without fireworks, you’ll still have a good time.
