Jordan Smith participated in this year’s famous singing competition, The Voice. The college student chose to audition with Sia’s Chandelier and if you ever heard this song, which I’m sure you all have, you’ll know how hard it is to hit those notes.

Jordan from Harlan, Kentucky wowed all judges during his blind audition, making all 4 of them turn their seats in approval, with Adam who was the last to turn around after his slight pause of contemplation.

The boy attends Lee University in Cleveland said, “I haven’t always been the coolest person,”

The judges, however, praised him for his all-out performance, assuring him it was in fact “OK to be different.”

Gwen Stephani in particular was mindblown when she turned around. She expressed her big surprise comparing his physical appearance to the amazing voice.

“You have just moved me so much today,” she said and called it “the trippiest turnaround”.

When he was done with his audition, she couldn’t help but run up the stage to give him a big bear hug!

Although Adam was the last one to turn around, Jordan picked him as his coach anyway.

Blake, Gwen and Pharrell must be disappointed.

The show just premiered it’s ninth season of the TV show slash singing competition. Can’t wait to see him perform more!
