Taking place in Germany, Euro 2024 took off with a bang after hosts Germany trashed Scotland 5-1 at the tournament opener.
Despite being trashed, tournament hopefuls, in this case, the Scots, were spotted taking to Bukit Bintang and watching it live despite being thousands of clicks away from the tournament.
Decked with lights well into the wee hours of the morning, bagpipes can also be heard, adding much-needed excitement to the fanfare.
Now we know this must be a knock in the teeth for Irish fans since their team did not make it to Euros, but it was all in good fun with entertainment brought to them by the St. John’s Alumni Pipe Band.
Now, for those who are not that familiar with Euro 2024, just like the World Cup, it happens every four years and is said to be the best international football tournament in the world.
Just look at the scenes.
For those enjoying Euros here in Malaysia, trust us when we say many of us will be watching it with you. Choose your team and cheer on, folks!
