The caption of the video reads, “A funny incident happened while we were celebrating. Luckily, we had a friend who could speak Chinese. He was embarrassed for entering the wrong place, but this is Malaysia, of course we have to eat.”

“We told him this isn’t a restaurant, but we’re having an open house for Raya. He might have felt embarrassed and wanted to leave, but we didn’t let him go. Everyone insisted he stay and enjoy the food. He’s great… he said thank you.”

The host also shared that they had served him soto, nasi beriani, kuah kacang, ayam masala amongst other food.

The video has gone viral, with many praising the host for their welcoming nature and the man for his good-natured response to the mix-up.

Kejadian yang lucu tengah2 kami beraya. Nasib baik la ada kawan pandai cina. Dia pun malu sebab masuk salah tempat tapi ni kan Malaysia, mestila kena makan.
