Police are known to exercise wide discretionary powers when carrying out their general patrol duties, especially to young people.

Akin to a slap on the wrist, these girls were made to carry out this punishment for riding their motorbike through a police barricade without wearing their helmets.

Caught on TikTok, here is a video of these girls doing ear squats at the roadside.

Taking place near Sungai Tapang, Tumpat, Kelantan, the two girls did not notice that their actions of performing ear squats were caught on video.

Ha, never wear helmet, ah?

Netizens recalled their own experience having to go through the police in their youth.

One user commented, “When I was stopped by the police, I did not have my license yet. The police made me tow my bike all the way home.”

“I was made to sing Negaraku, because I did not have with me my IC.”
