Outrageous student behaviours are not unique or rare, they have, however, seen an increase, and teachers don’t know if they can take it any longer.

Take, for instance, this video of a teacher forced to stop his online lesson to answer disrespectful questions posted by students attending his online classroom.

In the video, this unnamed teacher was in the middle of his lesson when students on the message boards began asking inappropriate questions during the class.

Some questions included, “Sir, when will the class start?” and “This class is boring.”

The teacher shared his response by stating things like, “Let me do my job” or “If you find the lesson boring, you can leave”. However, one comment from a student crossed the line.

“Your face looks like the officer that smashed into the SPM candidate last week,” said one of the students to him.

At this point, the teacher stopped the lesson and shared with his students the importance of respecting one another.

“Respect is earned, not given,” he told his students.
